systems, or to act as a stand-alone quality management system, depending upon the
needs of the organization. The purpose of eQuality is to allow for the evaluation
of the appropriateness of medical care delivered within the health system, hospital
or managed care setting. Evaluations may be used to identify opportunities for individual
and group improvement, and to track improvement progress over time. eQuality may
be utilized as a paperless, real-time application or with traditional data collection
and evaluation methods.
