LOS ANGELES, CA- August 4, 2014 - Medversant Technologies, LLC, which offers the leading healthcare industry solution for provider data management and credentialing, today announced that it has received National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Certification in all ten available categories offered to Credentials Verification Organizations (CVO). Certification is offered to organizations such as Medversant that perform credentials verification, report credentialing information to clients, and protect the integrity and confidentiality of the information.

Medversant received certification in the following verification services: Application and Attestation Content, DEA or CDS Certification, Education and Training, Malpractice Claims History, Medical Board Sanctions, Medicare/Medicaid Sanctions, Ongoing Monitoring of Sanctions, License to Practice, Work History, and Practitioner Application Processing.

Medversant President and CEO Matthew Haddad said, "Certification by NCQA for these ten credentialing services validates that our thorough medical credentialing process meets the industry's highest standards. NCQA has purposely set the bar high to encourage organizations to continuously improve their service." Haddad adds, "This achievement shows Medversant's ongoing commitment to quality for the 325,000 providers that we've credentialed to date."

The certification process includes rigorous onsite evaluations conducted by a team of health care professionals and certified credential specialists. A national oversight committee of physicians analyzes the team's findings and determines certification based on the CVO's compliance with NCQA standards.

NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA is committed to providing health care quality information for consumers, purchasers, health care providers and researchers.
